Firstly, spa & hot tub repairs should not be carried out by a typical pool guy. You're sitting in a body of water, with a 240V heater and its various components. Pool Technicians generally have no electrical qualifications, and cannot diagnose to the degree a fully-qualified A-Grade Electrician.
Peninsula Spa Repairs services and repairs all Brands, Makes and Styles of Portable Spas, Inground Spas, Concrete and Swim Spas.
Call us if you’re looking for a genuine Spa Repair Expert, or when your local Pool Shop or Shop Franchise can’t or won’t help.
Even if someone has a D-Grade & Electrical Disconnect / Reconnect License, this is generally Not Enough!
Every spa in Australia must be connected to an RCD (Safety Switch) as per AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules. Persons with the above qualifications cannot carry out the kind of work necessary to ensure these features are working properly. They may not even know if you have a Safety Switch (RCD).
We aren't trying to say that Pool Technicians & Spa Technicians don't have their place, but they certainly shouldn't be playing with Electricals.
We source & carry more parts than just about anyone. We deal directly with distributors & manufacturers, so if a part is available, we'll either have it or have it as quickly as possible. Balboa, Davey, Spa-Quip, Heater & Spa Parts, Gecko, SpaTex, Spa-Craft, Astralpool, Zodiac, Hurlcon, Raypak and many more.
I've been working on and with spas for many years, alongside the biggest manufacturers & dealers. I have also been working as a Fully-Qualified, Licensed Electrician with extensive Diagnostic & Repair work.
I've seen more and more "dodgy" work carried out, and it's getting just plain scary. People have been injured & even killed recently due to poor electrical work on their spa.
I've set out with the mission of providing great service & knowledge, and to keep you and your family as safe as possible.
