Even if someone has a D-Grade & Electrical Disconnect / Reconnect License, this is generally Not Enough.
Every spa in Australia must be connected to an RCD (Safety Switch) as per AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules. Persons with the above qualifications cannot carry out the kind of work necessary to ensure these features are working properly. They may not even know if you have a Safety Switch (RCD).
We aren't trying to say that Pool Technicians & Spa Technicians don't have their place, but they certainly shouldn't be playing with Electricals.
